Healing Division

I began this painting by cutting up the front of a cereal box into pieces and collaging it onto a piece of gesso treated cardboard. I then intuitively applied acrylic paint and marker. Many layers went into this, who would have thought, from a cereal box collage?!

Between the coats of gesso, the acrylic paint and the several coats of varnish applied to the finished piece, it has to be archival.
